Christian values sit at the heart of life at Hanford Prep.
They guide the way our community thinks, speaks and acts, and they shape the culture our girls experience every day. Our Chapel is the spiritual centre of the school and a place where pupils gather to reflect, to sing, and to grow in understanding.

The Chapel at Hanford Prep has long been a place of quiet beauty and calm.
It gives pupils and staff a shared space to come together for worship and reflection. Over the years it has welcomed generations of girls who have come together to learn about faith, kindness and service. Its history is woven into the story of the school.

Chapel Life
Girls attend three Chapel services a week The girls take an active part in every service. They sing hymns, read Bible passages and share their musical talents, whatever their level, through solos and ensembles. This involvement helps them develop confidence, purpose and a sense of belonging.

Leading with Values
Our Head leads the services and prayers, sharing real life stories that help the girls understand how Christian values shape our lives. These stories encourage reflection and kindness and show pupils how compassion, courage and integrity can guide the choices they make.
Together, our Chapel and our Christian foundation support the spiritual wellbeing of every girl at Hanford Prep and nurture a thoughtful, caring community.
