Annie Gent, BA (Hons), MEd
Head
Annie is Head of Sherborne Prep, having previously served for several years as Deputy Head (Pastoral).
She has a passion for supporting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing, and wants every child to enjoy a happy, enriching learning adventure. Together with her team, she aims to instil a love of learning and a deep curiosity in pupils – one that will carry them into senior school and far beyond.
Dedicated to Children, Parents, & Staff
Annie thoroughly enjoys her role, working closely with children, parents, and staff.
She holds a degree in English and Classics from the University of Nottingham and trained as a teacher at Nottingham Trent University. In 2019, she completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
She is currently the IAPS representative on the Pastoral and Wellbeing Committee.
