Sports Internship

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a proactive and well organised Sports Intern. The role will include coaching multiple sports, leading small group sessions in either your primary sport or in Strength and Conditioning and assisting the staff in the smooth day to day running of a dynamic department. 

The role aims to give the applicant an all-encompassing experience of sport in a large boarding school. They will provide specialist coaching, performance analysis and Strength & Conditioning services for Sherborne Boys and Prep School through the programming and delivery of leading-edge performance services. The role is unpaid as part of a sandwich placement year or for someone seeking experience working in a school environment.

Exams Invigilator

We are seeking a dynamic and communicative Exam Invigilators to will be responsible for exam invigilation at Sherborne Girls (SG) while their primary place of work will be SG, the postholder will also be expected to contribute to and support initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group. From time to time, they may be required to work at other schools or sites within the Group to meet the needs of the business. Invigilators are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of examinations in accordance with the regulations.  They must also ensure that the examination environment is calm and orderly and that examinations are conducted in such a manner that there can be no suggestion of improper conduct, unfairness, advantage or disadvantage to any candidate.

School Counsellor (Part-Time)

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a dynamic and creative School Counsellor who will be responsible for providing a confidential counselling service to pupils and staff at Sherborne Girls. While their primary place of work will be Sherborne Girls, the postholder will also be expected to contribute to and support initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group.

Teacher of Physics

Sherborne Girls is seeking a dynamic, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Physics to teach across the full age range (Year 7 to A Level) at Sherborne Girls. While their primary place of work will be Sherborne Girls, the potholder will be expected to contribute to and support initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group. From time to time, they may be required to work at other schools or sites within the Group to meet the needs of the business. This role provides an exciting opportunity to play a central part in both the success of the individual school and the continued development of the Group as a whole.  There is capacity for this to be a full time or part time post.
